Zero Waste

Poland: Erasmus Days in Szkoła Podstawowa Nr 8 im. Orląt Lwowskich w Zamościu

The Erasmus Days dissemination activity at Szkoła Podstawowa nr 8 in Zamość showcased the “Zero Waste Schools” Erasmus+ KA210 project’s outcomes through interactive tasks prepared by older students for younger classes. Students organized Kahoot quizzes, puzzles, and presentations on the Erasmus+ program, project mobilities and Zero Waste themes like waste segregation and pollution reduction. Activities matched the coordinated efforts with partners in Italy, Turkey, and Belgium, held during October 13-18, 2025. The primary audience was younger primary classes (grades 1-3), with broader school community involvement including teachers, parents, and locals via open events. This aligned exactly with the planned internal school focus, extended inclusively to vulnerable groups like rural students—no changes needed. The event promoted environmental sustainability by disseminating mobility learnings (e.g., eco-practices from partners), fostering European awareness, digital skills via Kahoot, and inclusion through accessible, multilingual activities. It directly supported Zero Waste goals by inspiring replication of green habits, lifelong learning, and international collaboration as per Erasmus+ KA210 standards. Over 150 pupils engaged in quizzes and tasks, generating uploads, photo-reports, and social media coverage; it sparked school green initiatives and sustained eco-clubs.
